Register as a Vendor

Purpose: Let users create one or more vendor profiles (e.g., catering, photography).

#What you can create

  • You can create multiple vendor profiles across domains (e.g., catering, photography, AV, decor).
  • Each vendor profile is reviewed before it becomes visible on the platform.

#Steps

  1. User action: Log in via Login.
  2. User action: Open your account area and choose “Register as Vendor”.
  3. System response: A vendor form appears to collect your business details.
  4. User action: Submit the form to request approval.
  5. System response: Your submission enters pending review.

#Form overview

  • Vendor name and category (e.g., catering, photography)
  • Service regions and availability
  • Pricing model or rate card (optional)
  • Contact details and business identifiers
  • Portfolio links (optional)

#Approval process

  • Lx Edge Team reviews your vendor profile(s).
  • Once approved, your vendor profile becomes discoverable to all users.
  • Rejections include a reason so you can update and re-submit.

#Errors and failures

  • Missing required fields: Inline validation explains what to fix
  • Network/server issues: Non-blocking toast with retry option
  • Duplicate names: Use a distinct vendor display name if a conflict occurs
